We Are

The A-Team is a leadership development and volunteer service program where students organize and lead various community projects. The A-Team was created with the vision that high school students of any background can become leaders within their community. The students received the name "The A-Team" from the staff and volunteers at the organization they were volunteering at for their hard work, leadership, and commitment to the different programs. Since 2012, the members have volunteered thousands of hours at various organizations and received numerous awards.

The Team consists of middle school, high school, and college students. The A-Team is about making the community a better place one person at a time. The Team advocates and takes action for change within their community. The A-Team's definition of a leader is making the people around them better. The goal is for each individual student to develop into the best person he or she can become. The Team strives to be better and do better as an individual, and as a team through the projects they lead in their community.
